A friend of mine had recently asked me if I knew anything about Google Caffeine, at the time all that came to mind was coffee beans. I took some time and did some research on Google Caffeine and as it turns out it is an upcoming Google search engine. As a consumer, I took a great interest in this project.

Although the new search engine is still in the development stages, there is a beta version Google has made available for a users to try out.

I tried out the new Google search engine and compared it to the original one. In my test drive, the only real differences I noticed were in the speed and accuracy of the newer version. Other than that, the two seem to be very similar.

To start off, try comparing the speed of the two search engines. Use just one word and when you get the search results do the same with the newer beta version to compare the difference in how fast it returns results.

When I did the test myself, I found that the Google Caffeine beta was faster than the original engine Google started with.

Next, I thought I would compare the accuracy of the search results. When I did this, the new beta version of Google’s Search engine returned less ‘less related’ results while the original version had many more of them. Google calls these blended search options.

For most users, the finding of these tests may ease their worries. However, this may not be the case for others. The Key words are interrupted in many different ways, which can have an effect on the results and the order in which it returns results possible leaving higher ranking pages unsearched.

With this in mind, it might be a good idea for bloggers to maximize the potential of their blogs and websites to be sure that their pages still turn up in the results. Thankfully, this is just a beta for everyone to try out.

One new, and not widely used, Internet marketing strategy is use the website Twitter. It is a free and fast-growing website; you can get incredible results if you learn to use it correctly.

Twitter’s statistics are phenomenal. It gains more and more users every day at exponential rates. It is expected to reach about 15 million by the end of the year. Any website that grows this fast and has such a wide user base can be very valuable in a marketing plan.

You cannot get rich quick using Twitter to market yourself, but it is a sure way to increase your income if you take the time to learn how to use it.

People’s curiosity is what drives Twitter and makes it so successful. People want to know what’s going on around them, and twitter provides a simple platform for spreading short messages in a short amount of time.

Interact with your followers in a familiar, comfortable way. Make them feel like they’ve known you their whole lives even if you’ve never met. Twitter is meant to be simple; don’t scare your followers by making things too complicated.

Be familiar. Ask about people’s days, their families, what they like to do, etc. This will make people comfortable around you and make them more likely to follow you.

This is a good way to get a lot of followers really fast. You are essentially using Twitter to develop good business relationships, like any other marketing plan. The number followers you have indicates how popular you are and, by proxy, how well known your business is.

Don’t try to directly sell yourself on Twitter. People don’t use social networking sites be badgered by sales pitches; it’s important to be sneaky about it and get your word in indirectly. This prevents you from losing a lot of customers.

You can also try driving traffic to your website through other means, like blogging and YouTube. Posting the links to your Twitter gives them the chance to go viral.

What could a trainee searching for Microsoft certified training expect to discover? Obviously, companies should give access to a range of course choices that match the needs of Microsoft authorised training routes.

In addition, you may want to be given advice on the types of jobs you might go for once you have passed your exams, and the type of individual those jobs would appeal to. Lots of people like to get advice on what would be best for them.

Ensure your training is matched to your ability level and skill set. A reputable training company will ensure that the course is relevant to the job you want to get.

Talk to a proficient advisor and they can normally tell you many terrible tales of students who’ve been conned by dodgy salespeople. Ensure you only ever work with an experienced professional who asks some in-depth questions to find out what’s right for you – not for their wallet! You must establish the very best place to start for you.

Where you have a strong background, or sometimes a little live experience (some industry qualifications maybe?) then it’s more than likely the point from which you begin your studies will be quite dissimilar from someone who is just starting out.

Where this will be your first attempt at studying for an IT examination then you might also want to begin with user-skills and software training first.

Many people don’t comprehend what information technology is doing for all of us. It’s ground-breaking, exciting, and puts you at the fore-front of developments in technology affecting everyones lives in the 21st century.

Computing technology and communication through the web will spectacularly alter our lifestyles in the future; remarkably so.

If money is around the top on your scale of wants, you will appreciate the fact that the usual remuneration of most men and women in IT is much more than with the rest of the economy.

Experts agree that there’s a significant national demand for professionally qualified IT workers. Also, with the constant growth in the marketplace, it is likely this pattern will continue for a good while yet.

Exam ‘guarantees’ are sometimes offered as part of a training package – they always involve paying for the exam fees up-front, when you pay for the rest of your course. Before you get carried away with a course with such a promise, why not consider this:

You’re paying for it ultimately. It certainly isn’t free – they’ve simply charged more for the whole training package.

The honest truth is that when trainees fund each progressive exam, one at a time, they will be much more likely to qualify each time – as they’ll think of what they’ve paid and so will prepare more thoroughly.

Why pay your training course provider at the start of the course for exam fees? Find the best deal you can at the time, instead of paying any mark-up – and do it locally – rather than possibly hours away from your area.

Including money in your training package for exams (and interest charges if you’re borrowing money) is madness. Why fill a company’s coffers with your money just to give them a good cash-flow! A lot bank on the fact that you won’t get to do them all – but they won’t refund the cash.

It’s also worth noting that ‘Exam Guarantees’ often aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. The majority of companies won’t pay for re-takes until you’ve completely satisfied them that you’re ready this time.

With average prices for VUE and Pro-metric examinations costing in the region of 112 pounds in this country, by far the best option is to pay for them as you take them. There’s no sense in throwing away maybe a thousand pounds extra at the start of your studies. Consistent and systematic learning, coupled with quality exam simulation software is what will really see you through.

Many people presume that the traditional school, college or university route is still the most effective. So why then are commercial certificates beginning to overtake it?

With 3 and 4 year academic degree costs climbing ever higher, alongside the industry’s increasing awareness that key company training often has more relevance in the commercial field, there’s been a great increase in Microsoft, CISCO, Adobe and CompTIA accredited training courses that provide key skills to an employee at a much reduced cost in terms of money and time.

This is done by focusing on the actual skills required (alongside a proportionate degree of related knowledge,) rather than spending months and years on the background ‘extras’ that degrees in computing are prone to get tied up in (because the syllabus is so wide).

If an employer understands what areas they need covered, then all it takes is an advert for the particular skill-set required. Syllabuses are set to meet an exact requirement and aren’t allowed to deviate (as academic syllabuses often do).

There are a lot of ways for people to chat with each other online. There are browser-based systems as well as stand-alone software packages that you can use. Google has a chat feature through Gmail and Yahoo Messenger has been a staple in chat software for many years. But no chatting method can hold a candle to Facebook’s integrated social chat.

It was a very intelligent marketing decision for Facebook to incorporate chat into their website. Facebook has become extremely popular for a number of reasons. Here are a few.

Other instant messaging platforms use e-mails to login and find friends; Facebook offers chat internally. This means that anybody who is a friend of yours on Facebook and is also online at the same time you are can be contacted. There are no hassles with trying to get people’s e-mail addresses; all your friends are consolidated into one place.

You have to worry about screen names on Facebook or whether or not someone uses the same chat software you do. Everybody’s using Facebook so you can talk to everyone at the same time.

Having all your friends in one place (figuratively) is probably the best part about Facebook chat. And why it seems so much better than other chat services.

Another reason: people do not tend to stay on their e-mails or keep them open for a very long time. Not so with Facebook.

Most people have Facebook up for as long as they’re on their computers. They minimize the window as they do other work and check in periodically. This makes them easier to reach and makes Facebook chat that much more effective.

The simplicity of Facebook chat also makes it appealing. It’s just a little by the bottom of your Facebook window; it requires no effort to install and no external software to run. Just get on Facebook and click the button to chat. By making it easy to use, Facebook has cornered the market and quickly become a powerful contender in the war of online chat.
